Substance Abuse Impact Council

The Substance Abuse Impact Council is comprised of dedicated volunteers from across our community. Impact Council volunteers are focused on achieving the overarching 10-year community goal through the development of targeted strategies and by evaluating community progress.
Community Goal:
Reduce by 20% the number of 6th through 12th graders that illegally use substances (cigarettes, marijuana and alcohol)
- Strategy 1: Families are educated, engaged, and supported in their efforts to raise alcohol, tobacco and drug free youth.
space - Strategy 2: Communities are active in their efforts to keep youth alcohol, tobacco and drug free.
space - Strategy 3: Schools are supported in their efforts to engage families and communities to keep youth alcohol, tobacco, and drug free.
space - Strategy 4: Youth are educated engaged and supported in their efforts to keep themselves and their peers alcohol, tobacco, and drug free.
