On-Grade Achievement Impact Council

The On-Grade Achievement Impact Council is comprised of dedicated volunteers from across our community. Impact Council volunteers are focused on achieving the overarching 10-year community goal through the development of targeted strategies and by evaluating community progress.
Community Goal
Reduce the achievement gap by 50% in third grade reading and sixth grade math for low-socioeconomic status students
Strategies
- Strategy 1: Students will increase reading and math skills through consistent one-on-one or small group tutoring.
- Strategy 2: Increase a child’s self-esteem and self-worth by providing positive, consistent adult interactions.
space - Strategy 3: Connect families and children to school in order to improve academic achievement.
- Strategy 4: Advocate and provide continuous learning opportunities throughout the year.
